Anne Marie Shoemaker and R. Gordon Poore are engaged and planing to be married in Charlotte, N. C., on September 28, 1991. Anne Marie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Shoemaker of Sidney, Ohio. She graduated from The Culver Academies, Culver, Indiana, and from Muskingum College, New Concord, Ohio. She is employed by Ashland Chemical, Inc., Charlotte, N. C. Gordon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Poore, Sr., Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and the University of Virginia Thornton School of Engineering. He is employed by Primary Steel, Inc., Charlotte, N. C.
