LEXINGTON - Buddy Blair Sibold, age 53, died Sunday, March 31, 1991, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. He was born March 25, 1938, in Rockbridge County and was the son of Lelia Hull Sibold and the late Osbie (Dick) Sibold. Mr. Sibold was a timber and mulch producer and was the owner and operator of B & D Trucking of Virginia, Inc. He was a member of the Kerrs Creek Baptist Church, the Lexington Moose Lodge, the Appalachian Wood Management Group, the Virginia Forestry Association, and the Virginia Division of Forestry where he was voted Logger of the Year. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Doris Burke Sibold; four sons and one daughter-in-law, David Blair and Sandra Lyle Sibold, Goshen; Phil Lee Sibold and John Mark Sibold, both of Goshen; Troy Lee Sibold, Lexington; two daughters, Pamela Fay Sibold, Goshen; Stephanie Ann Sibold, Roanoke; a stepson, Darrell Wayne Burke, Lexington; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret Ann and James M. Kirkland, Lexington; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas H. and Patricia Sibold, Covington; two grandsons, Sam Sibold and P.J. Sibold, both of Goshen. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 1991, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William E. Hamric officiating. Burial will follow in the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Kerrs Creek Volunteer Fire Department. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
