Mrs. Mary Herbert Houck, age 73, of Salem and formerly of Gross Point, Smith Mountain Lake, Bedford County, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 31, 1991, at the Richfield Nursing Center. She is survived by her husband, William Houck; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Turkington, Vinton; Mrs. Betty Jean Larson, Wheaton, Ill.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2, at 3:00 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park Chapel with the Rev. Richard Horner and the Rev. Victor Wolf officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations to their favorite charity. Lotz Salem Chapel is handling the arrangements.
