OBIT-FINKS, A.

Alice Thomas Finks, age 85, of the South Roanoke Nursing Home, died Monday morning. She was the widow of Lee W. Finks, Jr., and a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Lee W. Finks, III, and Martha Harris of Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Evergreen Burial Park at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Second Presbyterian Church memorial fund. The family will receive friends at the Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
