Authorities had not positively identified the woman, but said Donna M. Camper, 39, was the only resident of the trailer.
Wytheville Fire Marshal Albert Newberry said the trailer was about 90 percent engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.
Newberry said it was still not known how the fire started. It was windy Monday, which probably caused the blaze to spread faster, he said. Only the shell of the trailer remained.
