OBIT - FORBES, W.

William (Bill) Jennings Forbes, age 81, of 867 East Cleveland Avenue, Vinton, passed away Sunday. He was a retired office manager for Rust Engineering of Birmingham. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Carroll Forbes; two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas C. and Mattie Forbes, Vinton; Ronnie D. and Belva Forbes, Roanoke; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 1991, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Bill Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to the Vinton Baptist Church Building Fund. The family willreceive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
