Mr. John Edwards Moses Lemon, Sr., age 66, died on April 1, 1991. He was born February 12, 1925. He was the son of the late Raleigh W. Lemon, Sr. and Clara Foy Lemon. He is survived by one son, John E. Lemon, Jr.; three daughters, Andrea Lemon, Harriet Cooper, Matilda Williams, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Jean Taylor, Sarah M. Crouse, both of Roanoke; Matilda Hall, Annapolis, Md.; host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, friends and a very special aunt, Ms. Mabel Roberts. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. Mr. Dewey Cleve Bailey officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The procession will meet at the funeral home, 10:15 a.m. for service. Hamlar-Curtis morticians.
