Charlie Otis (Brother) Poff, Jr., age 72, of Chaparral Dr., S.W., died in a Winston-Salem hospital Tuesday. He was the founder of Ronaoke Foundry, Inc. and C & P Welding & Steel Erection, Inc. and was a Naval veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Frances M. Poff; five daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Mae and Jerry Liffick, Corona, Calif.; Gertrude V. and Dick Musick, Corona, Calif.; Janice D. and Jim Jachimski, Roanoke; Pat and Jimmy Cassell, Rocky Mount; Jeania and Michael Wilson, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin D. and Patricia A. Poff, Roanoke; Randy L. and Vivian W. Poff, Botetourt Co.; three brothers, Ivan T. Poff; Norman Poff; Pete A. Poff; two sisters, Elizabeth Caldwell; Vergie Robertson, all of Roanoke; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Williamson Road Church of God 11:00 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery, Floyd Co., 221 South. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
