OBIT SWAIN, E.

Edward J. Swain, age 76 of 3503 Richards Blvd., S.W., died Tuesday. He was a Veteran of World War II, a member of First Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Eaton Corp. Surviving are his wife, Beulah M. Swain; one brother, James P. (Kelly) Swain, Vinton; sister, Margaret Estelle Moore, Vinton; a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Dr. Charles G. Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
