Henry Herbert Scott, age 61, died in Bedford County, Monday, April 1. He was the son of the late Robert and Pearle Scott. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorene; a sister, Bessie Huff; and a brother, O. C. Scott. He is survived by his wife, Romaine Scott; a son and daughter-in-law, Chester and Rhonda Scott, Fincastle; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dennis Jones, Blue Ridge; a daughter, Teresa Scott, of the home; a granddaughter, Cherrie Scott, Roanoke; a sister and brother-in-law, Hollie and Lewis Childs; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Leo and Thelma Scott, both of Covington. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Eagle Rock Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
