Early Nathan Phillips, age 78, died Monday, April 1, 1991, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Ida Phillips; a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Eris and Elvin Wade, Willis; a brother and sister-in-law, Maston and Frances Phillips, Culpeper; five sisters-in-law, Grace Phillips, Floyd; Lydia Huff and Dura Quesenberry, both of Willis; Nannie Reece, Hillsville; Glyda Epperly, Christiansburg; a stepgranddaughter, Ona Lea Ford, Ellenton, Fla.; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Specialist Amy Bowman, Fort Stewart, Ga.; two stepgreat-grandsons, Eric and Billy Ford, Ellenton, Fla. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Elder Hale Terry and Elder Melvin McGrady officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
