A. Mont Eades, age 71, died Tuesday, April 2, 1991, in the Holston Valley Community Hospital. He was the owner of the Abingdon Dodge-Chrysler-Plymouth before his retirement. He was a member of the Greendale United Methodist Church and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Eades; four sons, Jim Eades, Bob Eades, and Steve Eades, all of Abingdon; and Mark Eades of Roanoke; one brother, William Eades, Princeton, W. Va.; one stepson, Douglas Lilly, Houston, Texas; one stepdaughter, Doris Hearl, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, fifteen step grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Farris Funeral Chapel with Howard Taylor, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow in the Knollkreg Memorial Park. Military graveside services will be conducted by Patton-Crosswhite Post #6975, V.F.W. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Farris Funeral Service in Abingdon.
