MILL MOUNTAIN ZOO RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS

Mill Mountain Zoo will hold a spring fling to recruit volunteers Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Positions are open for ages 14 and up. Zoo staff and volunteers will present short programs about the zoo's volunteer needs and answer questions.

Refreshments will be served. The recruitment will be held at the Roanoke Parks and Recreation Building, 210 Reserve Ave. S.W. For more information, call Marvin Johnson, education/volunteer coordinator at 343-3241.
