Producers may request 40 percent of the estimated total deficiency payment rates for these crops, said Terry Altizer, Montgomery County's ASCS official.
All advance payments will be made in cash.
Deficiency payments are made to participants when the average market price falls below the established target price for a crop.
To qualify, producers must reduce their what acres by 15 percent. Corn, sorghum and barley acres must be reduced by 7.5 percent.
Applications must be filed by April 26.
