OBIT WORLEY, S.

Sam Stephens Worley, Sr., 52, of Route 4, died Wednesday morning at his residence. He was the son of the late Sam Henry Worley and Sarah Hammock Worley. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gloria Dalton Worley of the residence; one son and two daughters, Sam S. Worley, Jr., Vicki Ann Gregory, Rosalie Fay Payne, all of Gretna; seven brothers, Wilford Worley, David Worley, Lee Worley, Sr., all of Gretna; Clay Worley, Lynchburg; Charlie Worley, Alexandria; Douglas Worley, Mt. Pleasant, N. C.; Price Worley of Montvale; three sisters, Gladys Light of Roanoke; Annie Dalton, Roberta Brumfield, both of Gretna; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday 2:00 p.m. at the Baptist Tabernacle, Altavista; by Dr. James Worley Interment will follow in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Colvert-Moran Funeral Home.
