MEDIA GENERAL SELLS CLIGGOTT PUBLISHING

Media General Inc. said Wednesday it has sold Cliggott Publishing Co. of Greenwich, Conn., to Cliggott's management.

Cliggott publishes four monthly medical journals. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Media General publishes daily and Sunday newspapers in Richmond; Tampa, Fla.; and Winston-Salem, N.C., and operates television stations in Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla., and Charleston, S.C. - Associated Press
