W&L GOLFERS WIN ODAC INVITATIONAL

Clay Thomas shot a 1-over-par 72 Wednesday to lead Washington and Lee to the team title at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Invitational golf tournament at Lexington Country Club.

The Generals finished with a 301 team aggregate to defeat Randolph-Macon by 12 strokes. Hampden-Sydney was third (319), followed by Bridgewater (328), Roanoke (330), Lynchburg (339), Emory & Henry (348) and Virginia Wesleyan (371).
