OBIT-THOMAS, O.

BUENA VISTA - O. Houston Thomas, age 66, died Wednesday, April 3, 1991 at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. Born September 17, 1924 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late William A. and Annie Mae Johnson Thomas. He was retired from Burlington Industries at Glasgow. Surviving are his wife, Anna Thomas, Buena Vista; two sons, Allen H. Thomas, Glasgow; Rodney D. Thomas, Natural Bridge Station; four sisters, Gertie Hamilton, Bedford; Alice Clark, Buena Vista; Willie Powell and Bessie Beverly, both of Natural Bridge Station; two brothers, Carl Thomas and Edward Thomas, both of Natural Bridge Station; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, 2:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Claude Floyd and Rev. Kenneth Teague officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
