PITCHERS SPARK HIGHLANDERS' VICTORY

Senior Dac Carbone and freshman Steve Johnson combined to pitch a four-hit shutout and Radford defeated Clarkson 8-0 in college baseball on Thursday at Dedmon Center Park.

Carbone (2-2) pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits, and Johnson pitched three shutout innings to earn his first save.

Rob Cassels, Travis Morgan and Kenny Dawkins each had two hits for Radford.
