COALFIELD WOMEN TO VISIT VA. TECH

A group of women from the coalfields of Southwest Virginia will come to Virginia Tech on Saturday to tell their story of the recent UMWA strike against Pittston Coal and their role in it.

The panel discussion with members of the United Mineworkers of America District No. 28 Family Auxiliary will be held at the Donaldson Brown Continuing Education Center, 1-2:30 p.m., as part of Women's Week.
