Ernest Robert Miller, Sr., age 76 of Roanoke, died Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Pauline T. Miller, sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Martha Miller, Salem; William and Jean Miller, Rocky Mount; Ralph and Carolyn Miller, Roanoke; Raymond Miller; daughters and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Eddie Matherly, Reba Miller, special friend Richard Gilmore; sisters, Elsie Cash, Mary Donahue; Maudie Arnold, all of Roanoke; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Douglas Keffer and Rev. William R. Shively with burial in the Miller Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke.
