OBIT-HALSEY, R.

Robert B. Halsey, age 85, of Vinton and formerly of Thornrose Rd., N.W., died Thursday, April 4, 1991. He was a member of West End United Methodist Church and was retired from Colwell Bros. and S.H. Heironimus. He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Ella "EM" and Waller Hunt, Charlottesville; Rita H. David, Vinton; four grandchildren, Jacquelyn and David Profitt; John L. David, Jr., all of Charlotte, N.C.; Martha and Robert Warring, Cumberland; Waller, III and Elizabeth Hunt, Sacramento, Calif.; six great-grandchildren, Nicole David; Ashley and Amanda Profitt; Sarah Virginia and Amy Hunt; Kelly Warring; one sister, Mrs. Zollie Vernon, Newberg, Ore. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Saturday, 1:30 p.m., April 6 with the Rev. Phillip E. Sims officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
