Bayne Benson Farmer, age 59, of Rt. 2, Crestview #5, Newbern, died Friday morning in Radford Community Hospital. Born in Pulaski County, he was the son of Lawrence Farmer and Mary Tabor Farmer. He was an employee of Volvo GM Plant and a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Cole Farmer; his mother, Mary Tabor Farmer, Pulaski; one daughter and son-in-law, Diana Lynn Carroll and Gerald Carroll, Bland County, Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wayne Farmer and Sherri Anderton Farmer, London, England; two grandsons; one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. David Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Saturday after 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski.
