ZHENG PLAYER FEATURED AT BACH'S LUNCHEON

There will be a Bach's Luncheon as part of Virginia Tech's International Week Celebrations on Wednesday, noon-1 p.m., at War Memorial Chapel.

Jean Sze of Shanghai, China, a graduate student at Virginia Tech and director of the Chinese Music Ensemble, will perform on the zheng, a Chinese fingering instrument with 21 strings that is played with both hands.

The zheng creates harmony and counterpoint sounds and can be used to express traditional Chinese music as well as modern pieces.
