OBIT ROBERTSON, M.

Melvin (Mickey) Thomas Robertson, age 62, of Route 2, Vinton, passed away Friday. He was the former owner and operator of Mickey's Modern Shoe Service in Vinton. Surviving are his wife, Florence Short Robertson; one son, Wesley A. Robertson, at home; one daughter, Sharon M. Robertson, Lynchburg; one brother, A. James Robertson, Roanoke; four sisters, Edith R. Porterfield, Louise R. Porterfield, Ruth R. Leonard, Joyce R. Fletcher, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 1991, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Steve R. Witt and the Rev. Howard A. Foster will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
