Laura A. Wampler and Steve Crawford are engaged and planning to be married May 25, 1991. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland E. Wampler of Troutville. She graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and Radford University. She is employed by U.S. Air. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Crawford. He graduated from William Byrd High School and the National Institute of Technology in West Virginia. He is employed by Mass Merchandisers, Inc., of Charlotte, N.C.
