HALE ANNIVERSARY

William E. (Red) and Bettie Hale celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 31, 1991. The reception was held at the home of a dear friend, Edna Gardner, in Roanoke. It was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bill Minix. They were married April 3, 1941, in Norfolk, Va. Mrs. Hale was the former Bettie Lee Dillon of Roanoke, Va. They had two daughters, Connie Lee and Pamela Ann (deceased). They have three grandchildren, Brian, Tracey and Patricia. Mr. Hale is a retired Real Estate Broker, Builder and Land Developer. He is a 32nd degree Mason, Shriner, Elk and a former Lt. Governor of Kiwanis.
