OBIT HUELS, R.
HUELS, ROBERT H., JR./ Robert H. Huels Jr., age 67, of Roanoke, died
Saturday, April 6, 1991, in a Salem hospital. He was a retired Director of
Safety and Security at Lewis Gale Clinic. He served in the U.S. Army during
World War II in the 691st. Tank Destroyers Battalion. Mr. Huels also received
the Bronze Star. Surviving are his wife, Doris U. Huels; a son, Robert H.
Huels III; a daughter, Lorraine H. Martin, all of Roanoke; grandchildren,
Robert H. Huels IV and Sarah K. Martin; brothers, Walter David Huels, Roanoke;
Richard C. Huels, Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Jean Huels Heizer, Richmond.
Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April
9, 1991, with the Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
