ROANOKE COLLEGE CHOIR TO GIVE SPRING CONCERT

The Roanoke College Choir will present its annual spring concert Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Smoyer Gallery of Olin Hall.

Jeffrey Sandborg will direct the 45-member choir in a program of choral music spanning five centuries and a variety of folk song arrangements and spirituals.

Additional highlights will be the premiere of work by Daniel Pinkham commissioned for the college's upcoming sesquicentennial and an original composition by senior music major Melody Vernon.

The concert is free.
