OBIT SMITH, C.

Clarence Edward Smith, age 64, of Roanoke, died Monday, April 8, 1991. He was a retired employee of Rowe Furniture Company. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Edwards Smith; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Smith Steen and husband, Richard, Salem; three grandchildren, Lori Shepherd Ferguson, Victoria Kristen Steen, Mark Quinn Steen. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 with the Rev. Robert L. Alderman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
