J.C. (Jake) Miles, age 95, of 1516 Union Valley Road died Monday, April 8, 1991, in the Meadowbrook Nursing Home. He is survived by two sons, Whitlow Miles, Richmond; Wendell Miles, Riner; three grandchildren, Sandra Prillaman, Salisbury, Md.; Carmen Steele, Columbia, Va.; Teri Miles, Richmond; three great-grandsons; two great-great-granddaughters; two stepsons; one stepdaughter. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Richard H. Horne with burial in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Tuesday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
