Harvey Wallace Dalton, age 86, died Sunday, April 7, 1991, in Radford Community Hospital. Born in Patrick County, May 12, 1904, he was the son of the late Booker and Lila Dalton. He had been a resident of Fairlawn for 37 years and was owner and operator of Pepper Grocery until his retirement. Mr. Dalton came to Fairlawn from McDowell County, W.Va. in 1954 and was a Master Mason of the Vivian Lodge No. 105 of Kimble, W.Va. for more than 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Macie Bowman Dalton; one daughter, two brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Craven-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, W.Va. with the Rev. Darrell Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Masonic rites will be conducted at the graveside. Friends may call at the Craven-Shires Funeral home Wednesday between the hours of 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
