\ Counseling: Guidance counselors in the elementary schools will talk about their program and answer questions.
\ Whole language: Teachers will explain how language arts and reading instruction have changed and will give details of what happens in a whole language classroom.
\ Math trends: Topics to be discussed include CSMP, traditional math, use of manipulatives, "Math Their Way," and "Touch Math." Teachers will explain what these terms mean.
Each parent may choose three of the topics. Parents are asked not to bring children; the sessions are designed for parental information.
