VIRGINIA BEACH COUPLE CLAIMS $7.7 MILLION POT

A Virginia Beach couple claimed Saturday's $7.7 million Lotto jackpot Monday.

Carl and Bobbi-Jo Volz got their first payment of $389,755 before taxes, and will receive 19 more payments of $386,000 before taxes, the Virginia Lottery said.

Volz, a 42-year-old firefighter, and Bobbi-Jo Volz, a 34-year-old nurse, said they plan to buy a new car and will continue working.
