Marie Chocklett Swanson, age 64, of 323 Troy Ave., N.E., died Monday, April 8, 1991. She was an active member of Hollins Road Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Dalton E. Swanson; one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald W. and wife, Susan S. Swanson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra S. and husband, Bobby Sink, Cynthia S. and husband, Brian G. Perdue; three grandchildren, Johnny Sink, Randy Sink, Matthew Swanson, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11 with the Rev. Mark Washington and the Rev. Charles R. Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
