SALEM TEEN INJURED IN CAR-TRUCK COLLISION

A 16-year-old Salem boy was in serious condition today after the car he was driving collided with a dump truck Monday afternoon in west Roanoke County, authorities said.

Joshua May of Red Lane was in intensive care at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for injuries he received in the 3 p.m. accident.

Police said May's car collided with a dump truck driven by Allie Marsh, 25, of Salem. The accident occurred on Wildwood Road near Frosty Lane.

No other details were available.
