Mrs. Ruth Butler Moore of Ashland, formerly of Roanoke, died April 6, 1991. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Moore Newbill of Roanoke; and Jeanne Moore Engleby of Ashland; her sister, Gertrude Butler Arnett; five grandchildren, Lynn Engleby Foster, Mary Anne Newbill Burke, Kay White Engleby, William Staples Engleby, III and Leah Engleby Moss; six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew and Daniel Foster; Maria, Thomas and Marshall Burke. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 12, 1991 at 5:00 p.m. in Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ashland.
