OBIT STATON, E.

Eva Zimman Staton, age 67, died Sunday, April 7, 1991, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born January 31, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Carry Smith Floyd. She was a member of New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, James C. Staton, Lexington; two sisters, Stella Norcross and Mattie Hartless, both of Lexington; two brothers, Ollie Floyd, Buena Vista; and Billy Floyd, Staunton. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11:00 from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Harrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
