OBIT WHITTAKER, B.

Mrs. Bielia V. Whittaker, age 81, died Tuesday in a Radford hospital. She was born August 20, 1908, in Giles County, Va., a daughter of the late Estil and Sarah Whittaker. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Whittaker, Dublin; three sons, Roby Whittaker and Jack Whittaker, both of Dublin; Rodney Whittaker, Parrott; six daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Gilmer and Mrs. Pedie Phillips and Mrs. Patricia Smith, all of Dublin; Mrs. Lula Collins, Radford; Mrs. Elizabeth Quesenberry, Pulaski; Mrs. Carrie Perkins, Pearisburg; two brothers, Harvey Whittaker, Parrott; Joe Whittaker, Pearisburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Lilia Riggs, Staffordsville; Mrs. Dona Ayers, Cincinnati, Ohio; thirty-one grandchildren, forty one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Parrott Church of God with the Rev. William Myers officiating. Entombment in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The body will be placed in the church Wednesday where friends may call from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home.
