RADFORD DOMINATES TOURNAMENT

Four Radford golfers finished in the top six and the Highlanders won their own Radford University Invitational tournament at Waters Edge Country Club on Tuesday.

Ryan Konkus shot a 1-over-par 73 and won medalist honors for the Highlanders, who had a 307 team total. Longwood College, led by Jimmy Ward's 78, was second at 322, and VMI was third at 366, led by David Conforti's 81.

Radford's Andy Achenback was second overall with a 74, Phil Fairbanks was fourth with a 79 and Chris Cantone was sixth with an 81. - Staff report
