Madeline L. Bower, age 65, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991. She was the widow of William G. Bower. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jean H. Brooks; one son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Jo Dean, all of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Ronald L. Brooks, Jr. and wife, Cindy; Terri L. Brooks; Tracy L. Dean; Jennifer R. Dean; six sisters, Sharon Kyle, Verona; Gaytha Teter; Carol Bennett; Patsy Taubler, all of Akron, Ohio; Frances Simmons, Front Royal. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 12 with the Rev. Jesse H. Powell officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
