Mazie Lucas King, age 87, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991, in a Vinton nursing home. She was a retired Floyd County school teacher. Surviving are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Annamille and Samuel P. Prillaman, Check; Mary Jo Ginger, Midlothian; one brother and sister-in-law, Andrew Day and Frances Lucas, Rocky Mount; eight nieces and six nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. J. Burton Epperly and the Rev. Richard Ecklund officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
