VIRGINIA TECH VOTED METRO VOLLEYBALL SITE

Virginia Tech will be host to the 1991 Metro Conference volleyball tournament Nov. 22-24, the conference announced Wednesday after a vote by the league's athletic directors.

To determine the tournament pairings, two round-robin formats have been set up to include new conference members Virginia Commonwealth, UNC Charlotte and South Florida. Virginia Tech will play all three teams Oct. 11-12 at VCU and will play Louisville, Southern Mississippi and Tulane on Oct. 25-26 in Charlotte. - Staff report
