HAMPDEN-SYDNEY NAMES NEW PRESIDENT

A California educator was named the 21st president of Hampden-Sydney College on Wednesday.

Ralph A. Rossum will assume his duties at the end of this academic year. He is vice president and dean of the faculty at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif.

Rossum, 46, will replace acting president Scott Colley. - Associated Press
