The congregations will hold a potluck dinner and reminiscences Sunday at 5 p.m. at Trinity church, Mountain Avenue at Third Street Southwest.
Guest pastors will speak each Sunday in May at Trinity. They include the Rev. Susan Hannah of Richmond on May 12, District Superintendent Eugene Carter of Roanoke on May 19, the Rev. John "Dee" Copenhaver Jr. of Stephens City on May 26 and the Rev. Homer P. Carper of Norfolk on June 2.
Trinity's homecoming Sunday will be June 9 when Bishop Thomas B. Stockton of the Virginia Conference will preach. A social will follow the 11 a.m. service.
Trinity's ministries to the community include a Friday night coffee house, day care for children and an expanded spiritual growth program for neighborhood children on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
Belmont will hold special services in the fall.
