FOR THE RECORD

Jerry Caldwell, chief deputy of the Botetourt County Sheriff's Department, is running for sheriff in the November election. Because of a reporter's error, his name was given incorrectly in a Neighbors story on April 4.

Because of an editorial assistant's error, the parents of Virginia Military Institute cadet James Frederick Blankenship were listed incorrectly in a recent dean's list announcement in Neighbors. The second classman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Blankenship.

Because of incorrect information given to the newspaper, the names of Kevin Honaker and Kara Whitley were misspelled on the Colonial Elementary School honor roll list published April 4 in Neighbors.
