CRIME LINE

A man indicted for murder and who still is on the run nearly two years Paige after the crime is the subject of this month's Crime Line.

On May 27, 1989, two women were killed and another woman and a man were wounded in Northwest Roanoke. Thomas Manuel "T.J." Paige Jr. was indicted for capital murder in these crimes by a Roanoke grand jury and remains at large.

Paige is described as 22 years old, 6 feet 5 inches tall, 190 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes.

Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with this and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
