VOLUNTEER FIRE, RESCUE CREWS ELECT OFFICERS

The volunteer rescue and fire departments No. 5, serving North Roanoke County, have announced their 1991 officers.

Larry Wirt is rescue chief, assisted by Kenny Ball, captain; Bill Bohannon, first lieutenant; Brian Thurman, second lieutenant and Pat Weikel, training lieutenant.

Brothers Frank S. Stebbins and C. Harvey Stebbins Jr. are chief and assistant chief of the fire-fighting volunteers. Other officers are: Jerry Thompson, deputy chief; Philip Casteel, captain; and Kevin Totten, training lieutenant.
