ROCKY MOUNT - Mr. Guy Ballard Perdue, age 90, of Route 3, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991 in a Franklin County Nursing Home. He was born in Franklin County, November 27, 1900, son of the late James Daniel Perdue and the late Lucy Ann Eliza Holland Perdue. He attended Ferrum Training School, was Co-Operator of Franklin Tobacco Warehouse and was an active member of Crafts United Methodist Church prior to his illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Bousman Perdue, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Julie P. Kelly, Vinton; special friends, Guy Bolling and family, Kathy Bernard and family, all of Rocky Mount; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Nannie Powell, Lake Wales, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bill Doss. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Crafts United Methodist Church c/o Nancy Mitchell, Rt. 1, Glade Hill, Va. 24092.
