ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Lottie Woods Cooper, age 51, of 153 Old Furnace Road, died Thursday, April 11, 1991, in a Roanoke hospital, following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Woods and a brother, Roy Woods. Surviving are her loving and devoted husband, Ronald E. Cooper; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cynthia and Michael Huston; Charlotte Cooper, all of Rocky Mount; one son, Joseph Edward (Joey) Cooper of the home; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Reid Blankenship, Ferrum; Phyllis and Ronald Holley, Rocky Mount; Janet and Paul Stanaland, Ferrum; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Buren and Rita Woods, Martinsville; Wilsie and Garnett Woods; Ernest Woods; Harold and Lora Woods; Jackie and Patricia Woods, all of Ferrum; Katherine Woods, Redwood; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. Cooper, Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted, 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with Dr. Carl E. Savage officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. Lynch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
